Ticket ordering system
The ticket ordering system of 2001 is used again this year. To buy computer place tickets you need to register first and if you are randomly picked from all of registered people, you can buy the tickets using a Java applet. Normal and oldskool ticket sales are sold in a simpler way: just go to the form, enter your information and the amount of tickets you want to buy.
The ticket ordering system is relatively complex, so please read these instructions carefully!
The ticket ordering system has been divided into three different parts:
Normal tickets are tickets which allow you access to the party place 24h/day for the whole duration of the event, but which do not guarantee you a computer place. If there are free computer places, you can take those places into use. If you are bringing a computer to the party place and you want to be sure that you have place for it, buy a computer place ticket.
Normal tickets are sold separately from the computer place tickets. To order a normal ticket, you only need to fill in the form with your personal information and the number of normal tickets you want to buy. There are over 1500 normal tickets for sale.
If you want to order normal tickets and computer place tickets, you can order the normal tickets when you order computer place tickets.
Normal tickets are sold from Thursday 2nd of May at 19:00 (Finnish time, GMT+2) to Wednesday 19th of July at 19:00 (Finnish time, GMT+2).. Normal tickets cost 35 € each.

So, if you want to order normal tickets
- Click on the "Normal ticket sales" to start the ordering
- Enter your personal information on the form
- Enter the amount of normal tickets you want to buy
- Your order will be saved and you will get a notification of the order by email
- We will ship your order in 2-3 weeks with COD (Cash on Delivery)
- The post office will receive your package a week after and they will send you a note by post
- You get the tickets after you have paid for them at the post office
P.S. Remember to print out the email confirmation and take it with you to the party place!
2. Computer place ticket sales
Computer place tickets are tickets, which allow you access to the party place 24h/day for the whole duration of the event, and guarantee you a reserved computer place. There are 2700 computer place tickets for sale.
Computer place tickets are sold using an interactive Java user interface, which allows to you to "point and click" on the exact place you want to buy. Before you can buy tickets with this interface you will have to register.
Registration for computer place ticket sales is open from Wednesday 24th of April at 19:00 (Finnish time, GMT+2). Computer place tickets are sold from Thursday 2nd of May at 19:00 (Finnish time, GMT+2). toWednesday 19th of July at 19:00 (Finnish time, GMT+2). Computer places tickets cost 60 € (ground floor & Game haven, rows 5-17 and G1-G12) or 70 € (Grand stand, rows 1-4, 18-21).
The ticket ordering system will randomly select new buyers several times a day from all of the registered people. The selection is completely random: it doesn't matter if you registered a month ago or two minutes ago!
Because the selection is random and there are only a limited number of computer place tickets available, we can not guarantee that everybody who registers gets to buy.
REPEAT: registration doesn't guarantee that you can buy!
Because of the high demand for ASSEMBLY tickets we feel that random selection is the only fair way to select the buyers. To prevent abuse of the system we check all registrations for duplicates.
The computer place ticket sales process is illustrated in the picture below:
The first step to buy computer place tickets is to register:
- Click on the "Register to computer place sales" to start the ordering
- Enter your personal information on the form
- If the registration contained the necessary fields, it will be accepted and you will be notified immediately by email
- Your information will be checked for duplicates in the order database. If there are duplicates, your registration will be removed.
- The ticket ordering system selects new buyers several times a day.
- If you are selected, your password and the URL to the applet will be emailed to you.
After you have received your password it is time to buy the tickets
To buy the tickets you need to
- Open the URL from the email with your web browser. Note that you need a Java enabled browser
- Login to the applet using your email address and the password sent to you in the email.
- Select the computer places in the applet by clicking on the places you want to buy.
- If you want to buy also normal tickets, enter the amount of normal tickets in the applet.
- Once you are finished verify the ticket order details and click "Buy" to save your order
- Your order will be saved and you will get a notification of the order by email
- We will ship your order in 2-3 weeks with COD (Cash on Delivery)
- The post office will receive your package a week after and they will send you a note by post
- You get the tickets after you have paid for them at the post office
Please note that your password will work only for one order! If you want to buy a second time, you will need to register again.

Oldskool tickets are tickets sold to a separate oldskool area. Tickets are sold only to oldskool demosceners or active sceners. The ticket price is 50% of the normal prices for normal and computer place tickets.
We decide on case by case basis who gets access to the oldskool area. People that are good candidates to oldskool area are all ASSEMBLY compo winners (from any year), people who participate in last year's ASSEMBLY compos. We naturally open the doors to all established sceners, so send us an email and tell us about yourself / your group and we'll see about it.
Oldskool tickets are sold from Thursday 2nd of May at 19:00 (Finnish time, GMT+2) to Wednesday 19th of July at 19:00 (Finnish time, GMT+2).
Once you are okayed for the oldskool ticket sales, you can buy from the oldskool ticket sales area. The process is shown in the picture below:

- Enter your personal information on the form
- Enter the amount of normal tickets and computer place tickets you want to buy
- Your order will be saved and you will get a notification of the order by email

- The post office will receive your package a week after and they will send you a note by post
- You get the tickets after you have paid for them at the post office
