Opening demo

The task is simple: Create a cool demo for ASSEMBLY '02 to be used at our opening ceremony and at other times during the party. The rules are simple:

- must follow the PC platform rules (Win32, Linux or Java entry)

- maximum length is 3 minutes

- maximum resolution is 640x480x32b

- maximum size is 10 MB

- must display the ASSEMBLY-logo

- must include the texts "ASSEMBLY '02", "1.-4. August 2002"

- can include the logos and information about the creating group

- must start from black screen and end to black screen.

- must be runnable from command line

- must include command-line option "-interactive". If this option is specified, the demo will clear the screen and start only after the user presses space bar. When the demo finishes, it will not return back to OS before the user presses space bar

- must exit if user presses ESC.

URL to the finalized entry must be submitted before 10.7.2002 to us at [email protected]

Winners will be selected by Pehu & Abyss. The winner will receive fame, glory and 5 free computer place tickets to Oldskool-area.
